Brooklyn: West Elm Market

West Elm Market features high quality goods to enhance all aspects of the home.
One of the loveliest new places to head for home goods has just popped up in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, along with an online arena for those who aren’t so conveniently located in New York City. West Elm has created a branch called West Elm Market, which focuses on selling specialty goods from lesser-known makers, many of them located in New York or the broader States. Market is carrying timeless, practical pieces for the kitchen, the bathroom, the garden and the home in general, becoming something of a general store with a little taste of everything.
According to the West Elm blog, Front & Main, “the Brooklyn Market store features a café in collaboration with Philadelphia-based coffee roasters La Colombe Torrefaction and will feature a demonstration kitchen soon. Events and classes created by west elm in partnership with Skillshare will be held at a community table in the center of the store.”
