Recipe: Fresh Lime and Jasmine Tea

3 cups (24 ounces) limeade, chilled
2 cups (16 ounces) brewed jasmine green tea, chilled
1 cup (8 ounces) cold water
2 teaspoons finely grated lime zest plus 1/4 cup (2 ounces) freshly squeezed lime juice from about 4 limes
Cut one of the limes in half lengthwise; set aside. Slice the remaining two limes in to thin rounds (you may freeze these into ice cubes, if desired).
Combine the limeade, tea, water, lime zest and lime juice into a medium-size pitcher and stir until combined. Add sugar to taste. If you do not freeze the lime slices into the ice cubes, add the slices to the pitcher.
To serve, scatter sugar on a small plate. Use one half of the reserved lime to rub the rims of four glasses and press them into the sugar.
Fill the glasses with ice, and serve the tea-limeade. Use the remaining lime half to add an extra hit of lime flavor, if desired. Serve immediately.
