Kinfolk Dinner: Los Angeles

Words by Julie Pointer Photographs by Leo Patrone

On the brink of autumn, we brought our fully collaborative Kinfolk Dinner Series to Apolis: Common Gallery in downtown Los Angeles to enjoy the last fruits and flavors of summer.

On the brink of autumn, we convened in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles at Apolis: Common Gallery for an evening spent enjoying the last fruits and flavors of summertime. Strung around the room were vestiges of the past season’s bounty, including herbs, hops, persimmons, olive branches and foliage that fragranced the room. We welcomed winemakers, designers, photographers, doctors, architects, sociologists, makers and others around the table, and enjoyed a lively night of good conversation and decadent food. The making of this dinner was particularly collaborative in nature, and we were honored to share the night with so many new and old friends within the ranks of our growing community.

A special thanks to our dinner partners Apolis: Common Gallery, Brakeman Brewery, Cookbook LA, Casa de Perrin, Greenbar Collective, Handsome Coffee Roasters, Leo Patrone, Moon Juice, Paper & Type, Paper Palate, Peddler’s Creamery, Reachel Craven Textiles, TACT Events, Three Sticks Winery, Twig & Twine Design, West Elm and YEAH! Rentals.
