1 Hotel CopenhagenA sustainable sanctuary in the Latin Quarter.

Set just behind the cobbled streets of the Latin Quarter, 1 Hotel Copenhagen brings its brand of eco-conscious luxury to the Danish capital. The 282-room property offers a warm and tranquil atmosphere, leaning heavily into Scandinavian design: a soft, subdued palette of neutrals, with crude timber and raw stone softened by lush foliage. Rooms, designed by Norm Architects, are calming, with tactile materials, generous natural light and views over Copenhagen’s tiled rooftops, church spires and historic streets. There’s no spa just yet (that arrives in 2027), but guests can join the hotel’s running club or book a Pilates session instead. Downstairs, Pære, the spacious lobby lounge, serves inventive cocktails among low-slung white couches and towering trees, while Fjora, helmed by Green Michelin-starred chef Chantelle Nicholson, offers a seasonal menu inspired by the Nordic wild.
