OUT OF LINE: Even in friendship there are some things that may be sacrosanct, private and not to be joked about. Parenting is usually considered one of them. Take music. Insults between musicians are usually considered fair game, but when they cross the line, we know it instantly. Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill once accused Courtney Love of Hole of injecting her baby, Frances Bean Cobain, with heroin. The comment was only semi-serious, but it was vicious enough to mark the pair as enemies for life.
