Anthracite Coffee SeogyoThe serene Seogyo outpost of a fast-growing Seoul coffee roastery.

,

Initially launched out of an old shoe factory building in Hapjeong, Anthracite Coffee now has six locations—five in Seoul, one on Jeju Island—which serve up single-source and mixed roast coffees (all named after famous artists and writers) as well as home-baked Madeleines and Financiers. The Seogyo location, fitted with red wood furniture, is split across multiple stories and has floor-to-ceiling windows that open out onto long balconies overlooking a rock garden.
