ARRIVE Austin rejects traditional “anti-public” hotel tropes—grand entrances, empty lobbies, guest-only restaurants—and instead feels like an open invitation to one of the city’s most fashionable neighborhoods. The five-story building is home to two restaurants, a coffee shop, and a bar that draw in both locals and visitors, with thoughtfully designed guest rooms above. The structure stands out somewhat among the squat buildings that surround it, but its design is thoughtful, taking cues from a nearby brick-clad Brutalist landmark, the King-Seabrook Chapel and Bell Tower. High ceilings, walls of windows and concrete pillars and floors set an industrial tone in the guest rooms, while Bellino Fine Linens, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker and Grown Alchemist bath amenities provide home comforts.
