Last Night What did artist and designer Luke Edward Hall do with his evening?

With a particular penchant for Greek mythology and Cecil Beaton, Luke Edward Hall is a designer whose work interprets history with color, playfulness and romanticism. Working across illustration, painting, ceramics and interior design, as well as brand collaborations on porcelain and embroidered slippers, the 30-year-old divides his time between London and—particularly this year—a cottage in countryside.

What did you do last night?
My boyfriend, Duncan, and I made a chicken pie for supper, and played with our new whippet, Merlin, with Poirot on in the background. I love Agatha Christie! We’d thought about getting a dog for a long time and now we’re in the middle of intense puppy training. Our flat in Camden is a shoebox. Here, there’s more space.
