Little Cat Lodge

Little Cat Lodge nestles at the foot of the ski slopes in Hillsdale, a small town at the border between the states of New York and Massachusetts. Originally a stagecoach station, the hotel was reimagined by design studio LoveIsEnough as an idyllic Alpine-inspired getaway replete with gingham fabrics, hand-painted flower motifs and rustic materials (the 14 rooms include furniture made from maple trees felled on the very same mountainside). The coziness is cut with contemporary design pieces and luxury conveniences—Isamu Noguchi lamps, a barrel sauna, and an outdoor pool—plus a lively bar and tavern that’s open Thursday through Monday for seasonal cuisine and cocktails.
