The hotel is situated in an 18th-century palace in Alfama, Lisbon’s cultural quarter, and was renovated by architect Manuel Aires Mateus. Interiors are characterized by natural light, luxurious materials, and a soothing color palette; oil paintings lean against the walls of the tastefully furnished rooms, and from the windows, there are views over the city’s red-tiled roofs to the Rio Tejo.
